Lately in class we have been doing presentations on many of the disease that occur in the human brain, that can be either developmental or they can be obtained through some sort of injury. The most interesting disease that we studied was known as savant syndrome. I thought this disease was amazing because people that have this disease can have the ability to have some sort of special talent. The short video clip that we watched in class was pretty cool. The guy that had the ability to tell what any day of the week it was on that given date and what the weather was like was pretty cool. If i had abilities like that id put them to use every day of my life. I know that people with this ability can be somewhat impaired but there are still people that can survive and live on their own with it. I think that sometimes something like this could be a gift in disguise. After school the day that we studied this syndrome i decided to go home and look at some videos of the syndrome on you tube.
